Net Set Go

 

What is Net Set Goω Netball Australia’s junior netball program and replaces previous Netta and Fun Net programs.
Who participatesω Development program for children from 5 – 10 years.
What are the Net Set Go program benefitsω The program incorporates skill activities, minor games and modified matches in a fun and safe environment.
Who runs the programω The program will be coordinated by a team of accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for each participant         
What you receive As a registered participant you will receive
· Participant back pack with netball and other great giveaways
· Fun weekly net set go skill activities and game play
· Small and big group social interactive learning
· Development of fundamental netball motor skills
· Delivery of the program by an accredited coach
· Parents, family and friends are most welcome and encouraged to attend each week
Venue Brunswick Byron Netball grass courts, Byron Street Mullumbimby
Time 12.30 – 1.30pm Start Date 1 May Finish date 28 August with a presentation and party

Information for coaches
 
Welcome to the 2010 netball season, thank you for your time and energy in volunteering to coach a netball team – it is appreciated
You will receive a coaching resource folder very soon
It has very good information for you to read at your leisure to help you with your coaching.
If you have any questions or if I can be of assistance please say hello on a Saturday or call me on 66801452 ah
 
I encourage all coaches to complete the free on line beginners Coaching General Principles Course
Note it is the pre requisite to the Foundation Course and your certificate of completion must be attached to enrolment form
Go to http://www.ausport.gov.au/participating/coaches/education/onlinecoach
The course takes takes approx 4 hours to complete and can be done in stages
            
Rules discussion evenings are held at the Clubhouse – check the notice board regularly for events and dates.
You will receive a fixture book in the near future with further essential information.

Net set go program finishes 28 August
Semi finals start 4 September
Grand Finals 18 September
Please note if wet weather occurs during final series then games may be played on 25 September if necessary
